Happy Hour

End-of-Year Look Back (and Look Ahead)

Yes, it’s that time again. The mince pies/pumpkin pie/all the pies are out, clients are “just squeezing in” one last task before the holidays, and we’re all wondering where the year went.

Before we switch off (or at least try to), let’s pull up a stool, take stock, and celebrate together.

Our final Happy Hour of 2026 is all about honest reflection from people in the trenches. No highlight reels, no #humblebrags. Just real talk about what moved the needle for our agencies this year, what flopped, and what we’re doing differently in 2027.

We’ll cover:

  • What worked: the services, systems, pricing changes and marketing that paid off this year
  • What didn’t: the experiments that fizzled, the tools we ditched, and the lessons we learned the hard way
  • What’s next: what we’re planning for 2027, from new offers and hiring plans to doing less and protecting our time
  • Your Barfly wishlist: what you’d like to see from the community next year, whether that’s webinar topics, events, resources or something we haven’t even thought of yet

Come ready to share a win, a “well, that didn’t work”, and at least one idea for 2027. Your input will directly shape what Barfly looks like next year, so this is your chance to steer the ship.

As always, expect good company, a few laughs, and probably a festive jumper or two.

Our monthly Happy Hour calls are a relaxed Zoom meeting to connect with like-minded professionals and share ideas in a friendly, informal setting. Think of it as a virtual hangout where stories are swapped, advice is shared, and challenges are tackled together.

Each call brings something unique, with open and engaging conversations ranging from client projects and workflow improvements to celebrating wins — or laughing off the occasional fail. There’s always a fresh perspective or helpful takeaway waiting for you.

Whether you want to join the conversation or just be a (bar)fly on the wall, you’re always welcome!
